1914 Tipped-In Print Anne Cleves Henry England German Hans Holbein Queen XAE9 XAH2 Historic CityThis is an original 1914 tipped in color print of a portrait of Anne of Cleves. She was a German noblewoman and the fourth wife of Henry VIII of England. She was Queen for six months but the marriage was never consummated and she was never technically crowned. Following the annulment of their marriage, Anne was given a generous settlement by the King and referred to as "the King's Beloved Sister" while she outlived any of his other wives. CONDITION
