The box has been opened but no balls have been used. The box is pre 1960. It contains 12 balls of mercerized darning cotton of 3 grams each. The box does not contain 12 balls of identical colors but 3 shades of coppery beige. So we have 4 balls of each shade of copper beige. There are 3 color references: 519, 520 and 521. A 519 ball comes from another brand: LV Paris. Box
