Antique Italian Micro Mosaic Miniature Portrait Painting Porcelain Guido Reni,1895 Sold The top of each sconceA good antique Italian Grand Tour miniature hand painted portrait on a porcelain plaque of Beatrice Cenci after the original by Guido Reni (1575 1642), the painting in a gilt brass micro mosaic frame, Florence, circa 1890. This very attractive Grand Tour miniature portrait of Beatrice Cenci was for several hundred years believed to be by Guido Reni, and scholars now believe that it is by Ginerva Cantofoli (1608 1672), the painting is signed illegibly
