In browning copper, voided, maker marked "GEO. E. LEES & Co 1916" on the reverse, measuring 48 mm (w) x 44. 3 mm (h), both lugs intact, very light contact, near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in St. Catharines, Ontario with mobilization headquarters at Toronto under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed January 21, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel B. J. McCormick
