Notocactus ottoluteus Indonesia Lavandula 'Anouk' is a Dutch

Lavandula 'Anouk' is a Dutch selection of the Spanish lavender

each topped first with up to 7-8 brilliant scarlet buds that open to very frilly

2 hours northwest of Raleigh

As the leaves mature

but doesn't quite match pictures of the original plant

Notocactus ottoluteus Indonesia Lavandula 'Anouk' is a DutchNotocactus x ottoluteus is a 2024 Plant Delights JLBG introduction of a Mike Papay hybrid of Notocactus ottonis x Notocactus herteri ssp. roseoluteus. These amazing hybrids form large solitary, dark green, 3" tall x 8" wide rosettes, topped, starting for us in mid May, with clusters of delicious peachy tangerine colored flowers. So far, these have proven amazingly easy to grow in our well drained rock garden.
