An exceptionally rare Alte Garde (Old Guard) badge, constructed of a semi oval silver frame, the obverse bearing a raised inscription of WESTMARKFAHRT 1938 ALTEGARDE, surrounding a central brown agate medallion, overlaid by a silver mobile swastika situated within a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat catch, stamped with a silver content number of
