Germany, Third Reich. A Feuerwehr Officer’s Sleeve Eagle certificate_of_authenticity 1607 and April 19(Feuerwehr rmelabzeichen fr Offizier). Constructed of a dark blue wool baker, the obverse bearing a silver aluminum wire oval oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse retaining a mostly intact black paper liner, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 84 mm (h), demonstrating minor oxidation and mothing of the wire and wool base, respectively, in better than very fine condition.
