This particular piece features Cupid and a dog and displays the pale colouring typical of the Chelsea factory. The original gold bail and seal base are both present on this Georgian piece. Features the motto in red, "FAVORI DE L'AMOUR". These seals would have been given as love tokens by the rich and famous of the day. Excerpt from Bryant's The Chelsea Porcelain
