2022 La Spinetta Ca di Pian, Barbera d'Asti DOCG, Italy (750ml) Gamay aged 16 months in FrenchWINEMAKER'S NOTES: The La Spinetta Ca' di Pian Barbera d'Asti Superiore 2022 is a deeply coloured wine, with purple reluctantly giving way to rose petal pink at the rim. The bouquet is rich and heady. Morello cherries, plums, almonds, earthy spices and a touch of alpine strawberries are all on show, tones that are reflected on the fruity, full bodied palate. Here they are joined by prunes, black figs and red cherries, plus a layer of creamy oak. The
