Domaine des Terres de Velle Corton Charlemagne - 2019 (750ml) 1986 This is another fabulous showingThe fruit for this Grand Cru comes from two complementary lieux dits, Le Charlemagne in Aloxe Corton, from 50 years old vines giving ripe and rich grapes and En Charlemagne in Pernand Vergelesses, NorthWest facing, a cooler climate bringing a freshness and nice balance to the cuve. The 2019 whites have wonderful aromatic purity. The palate is rich in concentrated lemon, apple, pear, and melon yet balanced by zesty acidity and linear minerality. A
