Turgenev, Ivan - Autograph Note Signed 1877 _more Austrian baritone (1882-1938)Russian novelist (1818 1883), poet, playwright and short story writer who greatly helped popularize Russian literature in the West. Autograph note signed and dated by him in Bougival, France, in 1877. Turgenev purchased a villa in Bougival in 1875 and died there in 1883. Turgenev writes in French to an admirer and adds a short comment about Tolstois newest novel. This is a note written on an album page that was taken out of the album, size is 7. 6 x
