Mercadante, Saverio - Autograph Letter Signed 1843 Autographs Singers 50 or less F French-Russian ballet dancer (1939-2009)Italian composer (1795 1870) mostly of operas, Mercadante was very famous in his time and was important in the development of opera. 1 page autograph letter in Italian signed by him in Turin, 1843, where he mentions the writing of a new opera called Il Reggente and mentions his previous work Il Giuramento, attached to a small portrait of him over the upper right corner.
