Vintage Chalkware Terrier Dog circa 1940s (Presumed) kachina dolls There is light tanning around{HISTORY} Meet Burly! He's a vintage chalkware terrier dog. Most likely a carnival prize dating to the 1940s, Burly is very similar in appearance to the UK's Sylvac ceramic terrier dogs, but our guy here is hefty in weight, solid in his gypsum composition, and hand painted in that colorful and unique way that only vintage chalkware can be. With a sweet face, earnest eyes, and those expressive, folded down ears, we like to imagine that Burly was the
